The terms and conditions available in this document form a binding legal agreement between DHK - Deutsch ist Hier Kostenlos ("DHK", "we" or "us") and the user ("you") of our services, including but not limited to this website. By using this website, you agree that you have read, understood, are bound to, and will abide by all these terms and conditions.

1. By continuing to use this website, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, you may stop using our services, including this website.

2. You agree to use the content and information on this website, as well as our other services such as YouTube and Google Forms, solely for the purpose of learning. You are prohibited from using it for teaching purposes by claiming to own or have created a part of or the entire content that is made available by us.

3. Any reference to our work must not be made without our permission, regardless of whether the reference is cited or acknowledged.

4. Our courses and content are supposed to be viewed or made use of only on the platforms on which we publish them, i.e., YouTube, Google Forms, and this website. Any type or form of conversion, such as downloading or external recordings or images of the screen that makes it possible for our content to be viewed or made use of otherwise, is treated to be equivalent to unauthorised sharing, distribution, downloading, copyright infringement, etc.

5. We own the copyright on everything we publish and we will not hesitate to take legal action if there is a breach of any kind, including but not limited to copyright infringement and unauthorized sharing, distribution, cloning or downloading of our content.

6. Our course and offerings are currently completely free of cost. We do not charge anyone for anything. If someone does attempt to charge you or try to sell you our free content, you agree to bring that to our notice as soon as possible and also agree to not be involved in such criminal practises by yourself.

7. You agree that any information you provide to us upon registration or application, personal or otherwise, is true to the best of your knowledge, and any false information deliberately provided will result in cancellation of your registration and certification.

8. You also agree to follow our "One registration per individual" policy and to strictly not register more than once with different names, aliases, or email IDs. We reserve the right to deny certification to anyone that we suspect to have multiple registrations or have conducted other malpractices.

9. Unique IDs or credentials sent to you upon registration should be kept confidential since anyone can make undesirable use of them. Once misused, we cannot help you recover or restore older data.

10. You agree to use only fair means to complete the course at DHK. DHK, at all times, reserves the right to cancel your registration or not provide you with the certification in case we suspect any kind of malpractice in the tests submitted by you.

11. In the case of our Volunteer Program, any kind of information or content, regardless of the percentage or amount of your contribution to it, remains the sole property and copyright of DHK.

12. The information or content that you submit as part of the volunteer program must be an entirely authentic creation of your own. Plagiarism of any kind is prohibited. Using other people's work with or without their permission, even if partially created by you, is strictly prohibited.

13. The volunteer program does not offer any remuneration. However, we will issue a certificate to you upon successful completion of the work.

14. The successful completion of the volunteer program is subject to more terms and conditions, which will be specified in greater detail once you have been verified as a volunteer.

15. Exchange of text or speech on public media, such as comments on our YouTube channel, Instagram, etc., should not contain any form of hate speech, racism, abuse, etc., and must follow the community guidelines put forth by that particular medium. Publishers of comments or other forms of public content that are potentially harmful in one or more of these or other ways will be blacklisted and blocked permanently and will not be allowed to participate in any of our offerings, and their current course progress, including certification, shall be cancelled immediately.

16. You agree that, within your jurisdiction, you are legally old enough to agree to the terms of DHK for yourself or on behalf of the end user that you are committing to, whichever applicable.

17. It is your responsibility to check the legitimacy of any communication you receive on our behalf. If you find something suspicious, contact us on a reliable medium to be sure and verify the same.

18. DHK or its affiliated stakeholders are not liable to you for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages, among other things, regardless of the cause.

19. You also agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend DHK and its affiliated stakeholders against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, etc. that were a result of the following among similar others:
i. your violation of any of the DHK terms
ii. your violation of copyrights, property or privacy rights, third-party rights, etc.
iii. other violations or damages as a result of your use of our services

20. You acknowledge that we reserve the right, at any time, to discontinue, modify, or update a portion of or the entire service that we provide, and that we will not be liable to you or any third party for doing so.

21. Acceptance of these terms does not create any form of alliance, partnership, or any other special relationship between DHK and you.

22. These terms of service may be changed or updated at any time. You agree to keep checking for updates, modifications, or additions in the terms of service.
